The Federation of Hiking Organizations of Catalonia (FEEC), has the pleasure of inviting you to discover some of the most charming places in the south of Catalonia.
Between the 3 and 10 of May of 2020 we will celebrate the second edition of Catalonia Trek Festival, an event where you will be able to know the best landscapes of the Costa Daurada and the Terres de l’Ebre, the two tourist brands of the regions of Tarragona. An area of extraordinary beauty, where the mountain practically flows into the Mediterranean and where the human and cultural footprint goes back to the time of the Roman Empire.

  • Dalí Museum, visit to Figueres and the Roses Citadel

The Dalí Museum, which opened in 1974, stands on top of the remains of the former Municipal Theatre of Figueres and is regarded as the last great work of Salvador Dalí.

  • Ruins of Empúries and visit to the Espelt winery (DO Empordà)

Empúries is the only archaeological site on the Iberian Peninsula where the remains of a Greek city – the colonial outpost of Emporion – live alongside the remains of a Roman city raised in the early 1st century BC on top of the structures of a Roman military camp installed during the previous century.

  • Medieval Baix Empordà and hike to Montgrí Castle

Peratallada, Ullastret, Pals, Palau-sator and Vulpellac are some of the most representative examples and form part of the triangle known as the Tuscany of the Costa Brava. These beautiful, golden-hued villages provide a stunning counterpart to the picture-postcard rural scenery.

  • Visit to the city of Girona

No meeting of this type held in the Empordà region can fail to include a visit to the provincial capital and unquestionably one of the most delightful cities in Europe.

  • Visit to Barcelona

It would be impossible to even attempt to visit the city of Barcelona, one of the most important tourist destinations in the world, in the space of just one day. For this reason, we propose a walking tour to get an up-close look at some of the most outstanding features of the Modernist Route, one of the treasures of the Catalan capital.
